Challenge Accepted

Many of you that have been part of the writing world have probably heard this term before. For those of you that aren’t familiar, NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, is kind of like a fitness challenge, but for writers. The goal is to write every day and hit 50,000 words by the end of November. Everyone writes fast, supports each other, and ignores their inner editor. It’s messy and fun, but it really gets the words flowing.

As of right now I have a strange little work in progress that I’ve been brainstorming as well as book two to write. I am leaning towards the work in progress, to go with the spirit of the challenge, but we shall see where the creative inspiration takes me.

So, for all of you that have been struggling to finish your project. Or even need a break and have some ideas brewing in the back of your mind…

I invite you to join me.

Comment below “challenge excepted” if you, too, will be participating.

I’ll be updating once a week (outside of other random blogging) to let you know how my progress is going. If you take up the challenge please do comment your projects, how your challenge is going, and encourage each other!
