A week of firsts

So I will be the first to admit, I am new to this whole thing. The being an author thing. The self promotion thing. Designing webpages and formatting books for publication. And… it’s a lot.

I am lucky and grateful to have some amazing mentors with me on the journey and there are tons of great how to videos out there on YouTube for anyone else just starting out. But, it’s hard!

I am proud to start off this next week saying, “I DID IT.” I designed a webpage. I formatted my book and my eBook is on preorder. My paperback and hardcover are ready for my November 14th, 2025 release date. I designed and submitted covers.

Now I get to just sit back and relax, right? LOL nope.

Now, I get to promote my book.

Now, I get to start the next one.

But the best way to look at the whole thing is that keyword there. GET. I get to do what I love. I get to share my stories with all of you wonderful people. And I couldn’t be more excited. So yes, it’s hard. Yes, the learning curve is a little steeper than I realized. But I couldn’t be happier to check off this week of firsts and prepare for the next one.
