Divinius: Awakening is set in a military-controlled colony on the planet Rosetta. It is a dual POV YA science-fantasy novel following two seventeen-year-olds from opposite sides of the fence. Cassie, an isolated civilian surrounded by secrets, and Alex, a magic-wielding soldier raised to obey. Through misadventure, a little breaking and entering, and some magic… the two teens form a psychic bond. Together they must unravel the mysterious truth of what the military is up to while dealing with futuristic technology that shouldn’t exist, the nasty scientist in charge of the base that’s out to destroy them, and their own budding relationship.
