First, I want to reassure all of you, I have not abandoned my writing or my book series! There will be a sequel, and I am hard at work crafting both amazing and horrible things for your favorite characters.
However… I must confess. I am horrible at keeping up with things like social media and blogs. Marketing. Daily, weekly, or even monthly postings are habits that I just have not formed yet. I wake up having dreamed of conversations between Cassie and Alex that I must write down, or despicable things Victoria must do to someone. Some days, another project pulls my attention, and I type away chapter after chapter in that story. And then I find the day or week or month has gotten away from me. I find myself shocked somehow that it is already March and I have yet to have posted this year.
I suppose I should apologize. But as I look over my creations, I find it difficult to do so. More than anything, I am a writer, and that is what draws me in day after day. Instead, I shall ask for understanding and grace as I learn and grow as a writer. Patience, as I find some kind of groove and room to be both present and write. And say thank you to all of you who are willing to walk this journey with me, even when I tend to veer off on some bumpy backroad.
